The institution regularly organizes movie screenings, art and photo exhibitions, as well as lectures and meetings with distinguished people.

The groups of interest in Ustrzyki Cultural Centre:

NEMEZIS
A band led by Joanna Drozd, established in 2002, with the current list of members (the third one) functioning since 2009.

"PARRA" THEATER OF FORM
Created in 1998 on the basis of year-long workshops intended for young people from secondary schools in Ustrzyki Dolne and their closest area. The theater was established as an initiative of Bogdan Augustyn, the director of Ustrzyki Cultural Centre. From the beginnings of the theatre’s existence, all plays have been written and directed by Grażyna Kazanowska who runs the theatre. Scripts are written in cooperation with the teenagers who, as they observe the surrounding world, disagreeing with the reality they live in and rebel against it, and social, civilizational, and moral threats that accompany them, try to “discuss” all these phenomena, using the language of a stage.

ARTS STUDIO
The Ustrzyki Cultural Centre houses the meetings of an arts studio active since 1998 led by Elżbieta Jełowicka-Piotrowicz. It focuses on art classes for children and teenagers of different ages, from primary school pupils to secondary school students who can de distinguished by special drawing, painting, and graphic skills. The classes are organized with easels or drawing tables. The participants take active part in different forms of classes and in different Polish national competitions, often awarded with prizes. At the end of each school year, the Ustrzyki Cultural Centre organizes an exhibition allowing young artists to present their works.

BIESZCZADZKI DOM BAND
It was established in 1997 in Bandrów near Ustrzyki Dolne. From the beginnings of its activity, the band has cultivated traditions brought by new settlers to the land of Bieszczady and related to the multicultural character of pre-war Bandrów (Poles, Ukrainians, and Germans). The band has participated in local events, holidays, and picnics.
The band is an originator and co-organizer of “Koszykalia” folk festival, which has been held in Bandrów in August for several years now.

MUNICIPAL ORCHESTRA

A wind orchestra created in 1978. It was later moved to Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Drzewnego (PPD) in Ustjanowa. After PDD was closed down, the orchestra was taken over by the town and moved under the patronage of the Cultural Centre. The orchestra takes part in all national celebrations, anniversaries, and open-air and entertainment events.

MUSIC LESSONS

The Cultural Centre houses piano and viola lessons led by Elina Heichel, which have been held there for many years.
