It's not only a museum; it’s a passion for preserving what used to function in the past and a passion for traditional bread-baking. Several floors full of various exhibits will take you on a journey to the world which was so full of life not that long ago
The Museum of Milling Industry and Countryside in Ustrzyki Dolne has been operating since 2011 in the building of a former 1925 mill which managed to successfully survive the Second World War, although without its equipment. In 1953, the mill reopened and operated till 2007.
As of now, on the museum’s four floors, we can see the complete equipment used to clean and grind cereal in mills with an advanced drive. Additionally, as a part of a permanent exhibition, the museum has machines from the 19th century.
The Museum of Milling Industry and Countryside houses annual celebrations of Days of Bread, during which you can try delicious baked goodies. This year, the event will be held on 5th and 6th August, 2017.
